First Impressions Of Windows 10

I like it, it's the best thing that Microsoft have done in the last 10 years so well done to them.  On all the machines I've installed it on it's ran at least as fast as the Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 that it has replaced.  That is all except boot time which seems to be a little slower but certainly not enough to matter.   I even went to town looking at resource usage on my main work PC and it uses a little less memory which is always good.  All my own software runs fine completely unaltered, all the way back to some rather dodgy Win32 Delphi applications.

Overall then a solid 8/9 out of 10...almost unheard of for a first attempt from Microsoft.  If they can just nail down the Explorer reliability and fix a few bugs when a system comes out of sleep mode (there are still issues with networked drives that seem to have persisted from earlier Windows versions) then I'll be giving it a 10.
